![]() Other better optimized games will run at 60fps no problemįan wont spin at idle so temp can reach 45 degrees Using it with Dell UltraSharp U2412M at 1920x1200Īssassin's creed unity sometimes drops to 45fps but mostly will be around 55-60 In game with the afterburner OSD the clocks will show a boost core clock of 1516MHz and memory at 3856MHz Working with the card with an overclock of I am just waiting for my Witcher 3 and Batman codes to come into the mail :). The card is LONG, I have a Mid-Tower case and I have 3 inches to spare and my case is just barely wide enough for it. It projects onto my ceiling, but I do like having an easy way to check on the status of my cards power supply. Miscellaneous: There is a white LED light that is pretty bright. 500w for one GPU does not sit well for me, but 200-250w is great! My total system now barely uses 450w out of the total 750w PSU I have. Power Demand: I love Asus and how conservative their cards are. I am idling at 40 c right now, minding that I have 3 monitors hooked into it, and the hottest I have gotten it to is 65 c. It is able to play Dying Light really smoothly, Dying Light is probably one of the most performance demanding game on the market currently, and I just barely went on a Zombie Frenzy with no apparent lack in performance. Outside of gaming though there is no coil whine. I limited my FPS to be between 30 and 60 (Do you really need to game at 150 FPS.?) and that greatly improved the coil whine to a point that I could only hear it if all my fans were at the lowest settings I also read the v-sync or g-sync also fix the coil whine. I am using the MSI Afterburner software, not the Asus GPUTweak, because everyone reccomends the MSI Afterburner for GPU tuning apparently. The coil whine can be bad, really bad, BUT I did find a fix that lessens it to a great extent. Coil Whine: I was not lucky enough to get a card that was free of this issue. ![]()
